Bitbucket Issue Notifications

Hi all,

I'd like to propose enabling the issue tracker notification system on bitbucket to send an email to enzo-dev whenever an issue is raised. This is a new feature that they have recently added.  

This should only email the list when a new issue is added.  If you then want to follow the updates to the issue, click the "watch" option that appears in the summary window (as shown in the attached screengrab).

Okay, sounds like pretty widespread support.  Could someone with admin privs add enzo...@googlegroups.com to the issues notifications?

Hi Folks,

Can someone verify that these PR emails are actually set up to send to the enzo-dev google group? Dave just mentioned to me that he isn't receiving them.  I get them, but they seem to be sent to my email and not the group https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/enzo-dev.  Maybe the first one was never spam-unfiltered?  

BTW, lots of movement lately, so be sure to check out https://bitbucket.org/enzo/enzo-dev/pull-requests if you haven't gotten the updates.

Or, did we decide that we'd follow how it is set up on BB, which Matt pointed out a while back:

which means that those who have "write" access and are explicitly following enzo-dev on bitbucket will get emails.

Since the set of people who have commit access does not completely cover the set of people who would like to see these e-mails, I think it would be best to set up a dummy e-mail account that forwards the notifications to enzo-dev.  I think that's how we do it for the yt-dev e-mail list.

I personally don't mind getting two notifications about new pull requests.

We had this for a while; it's not a good solution. The good solution
is to just follow the enzo-dev repository, I think. Very simple --
click on the "Follow" button on the repository page. The change in
notifications was so that when people forked, and by default they let
the repository permissions inherit, people wouldn't get all the
notifications unless they explicitly requested them by "Following."

(Also, we don't do that for yt-dev, it's done in the same way as Enzo.
We do get new issue notifications, though.)
