Global Energy Transition Journalism conference (7-8 April 2019)

the Global Energy Transition Journalism conference (7-8 April 2019) is now open for registration. The conference will revolve around how business journalism deals with the energy transition.

Major questions that we seek to discuss at the event, are:

• How do businesses adjust to the climate crisis?
• How does incumbent industries’ transformation look like?
• Who are the innovators? Who is leading, who is lagging or even working against the transition?
• How do companies act and shape the transition across borders? And what are the questions journalists should be asking to get to the bottom of the story and inform their readers?

Some details for the participants:

The conference is free of charge. Participants must pay for their own travel and accommodation.

For CLEW Journalism Network members, there are five fellowships available, covering travel costs (reimbursement) and accommodation (07. - 08.04). In order to be eligible, you need to:

1. Be a member CLEW Journalism Network. If you haven't joined yet but would like to do so, sign up here now.
2. Submit the registration form above.
3. Send us your idea on how business journalism should tackle the energy transition to net...@cleanenergywire.org. Perhaps you can draw from your own work as an example, you know an outlet in your region which already does great work on this, or you quite simply have a future vision of what best practices should be?

The registration deadline for the CLEW Journalism Network fellowships is Friday, 22 February.
