The energy we get from the wind has increased fivefold

During January-July of the current year, Azerbaijan produced and provided services worth 1155.0 million manat in the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector.

According to the State Statistics Committee, Finans.az reports an increase of 3.2% compared to the same period last year. The volume of production in the water supply, waste treatment and processing sector increased by 7.4% and amounted to 185.7 million manat.

14 183.2 mln. kWh, which is 5.1% more than the same period last year.

Of these, 12,548.1 million were kWh is the production of thermal power plants. Energy production at wind power stations increased 5 times compared to the same period last year to $ 71.1 million. kWh, solar power plants increased by 9.8% to 25.7 mln. kWh.
