22 ოქტომბერი, 2021 წელი. თბილისი. მოხარულები ვართ გაცნობოთ, რომ ევროკავშირის მხარდაჭერილი საქართველოს კლიმატის პროგრამის ფარგლებში CENN-მა, გრაფიკოს დიზაინერების კონკურსში „იმოქმედე კლიმატისთვის“ გამარჯვებული პოსტერების გამოფენასა და დაჯილდოებას უმასპინძლა და კლიმატის ცვლილების მოქმედებათა საერთაშორისო დღე აღნიშნა.
პოსტერების კონკურსი - იმოქმედე კლიმატისთვის 7 სექტემბერს გამოცხადდა, მასში 80-მდე ახალგაზრდამ მიიღო მონაწილეობა, რომლებმაც 130-ზე მეტი პოსტერი წარმოადგინა. კონკურსის მიზანი კლიმატის ცვლილების შესახებ საზოგადოების ინფორმირებულობის გაზრდა და კლიმატის ცვლილების წინააღმდეგ ბრძოლაში საზოგადოების გააქტიურება იყო.
მონაწილეებმა შექმნეს ისეთი პოსტერები, რომლებიც აჩვენებს, კლიმატის ცვლილების პროცესებს, გამოწვევებსა და შესაძლო გადაჭრის გზებს; წარმოაჩენს კლიმატის ცვლილების უარყოფით შედეგებს და ასახავს ჩვენს დამოკიდებულებას კლიმატის ცვლილების მიმართ.
აღნიშნული ღონისძიების მიზანი იყო კლიმატის ცვლილების მოქმედებათა საერთაშორისო დღის აღნიშვნა და საზოგადოებაში, განსაკუთრებით კი ახლაგაზრდებში, ცოდნის ამაღლება კლიმატის ცვლილებაზე და მისი ნეგატიური შედეგების შერბილების მარტივ გზებზე, ყოველდღიურ ქმედებებზე, რომლებიც დაგვეხმარება შევამციროთ კლიმატის ცვლილება.
ღონისძიების პირველი ნაწილი დაეთმო მოწვეული სტუმრების მისალმებასა და პროექტის - საქართველოს კლიმატის პროგრამა და კონკურსის - იმოქმედე კლიმატისთვის მიზნებისა და საქმიანობების წარდგენას, ხოლო მეორე ნაწილი გამარჯვებულების დაჯილდოვებას, პოსტერების გამოფენასა და პოსტერების ავტორებთან გასაუბრებას.
შეხვედრაში მონაწილეობას იღებდნენ ევროკავშირის დელეგაცია საქართველოში, საქართველოს გარემოს დაცვისა და სოფლის მეურნეობის სამინისტროს, საქართველოს პარლამენტის, ილიას სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის და არასამთავრობო ორგანიზაციების წარმომადგენლები.
ღონისძიებაში 40-მდე მოწვეულმა სტუმარმა მიიღო მონაწილეობა და კონკურსანტებთან ერთად აღნიშნა კლიმატის ცვლილების მოქმედებათა საერთაშორისო დღე.
2021 წლის იანვრიდან CENN-მა, ევროკავშირის ფინანსური მხარდაჭერით, დაიწყო ახალი ინიციატივა საქართველოს კლიმატის პროგრამა (GEO-CAP): სამოქალაქო საზოგადოების ჩართულობის ხელშეწყობა კლიმატის ცვლილების პოლიტიკის შემუშავება და განხორციელებაში.
CENN საქართველოს კლიმატის პროგრამას მომდევნო 4 წლის განმავლობაში, პარტნიორ ორგანიზაციებთან ერთად 4 სამიზნე რეგიონში (გურია, იმერეთ, რაჭა-ლეჩხუმი და კახეთი) ადამიანის უფლებებზე დამყარებული მიდგომით, განახორციელებს.
„საქართველოს კლიმატის პროგრამა“-ს ევროკავშირის ფინანსური მხარდაჭერით ახორციელებს CENN, კახეთის რეგიონული განვითრების ფონდთან (KRDF), ჭიათურელთა კავშირთან (ACU), რაჭა-ლეჩხუმისა და ქვემო სვანეთის აგროტურიზმის განვითრების ასოციაცისთან (RLS-ADA) და ახალგაზრდა პედაგოგთა კავშირთან (YPU) თანამშრომლობით. პროექტის სამიზნე მუნიციპალიტეტებია: გურჯაანი, საგარეჯო, ახმეტა, ზესტაფონი, ტყიბული, ჭიათურა, ლანჩხუთი, ოზურგეთი, ონი და ამბროლაური. პროექტის საერთო ბიუჯეტია 1 მილიონი ევროა.

October 22, 2021. Tbilisi. We are pleased to announce that, within the framework of the EU-supported Georgia Climate Action Program, the EU and CENN hosted an exhibition and awards ceremony for the winning posters in the Graphic Designers Competition ACT4CLIMATE and marked International Climate Action Day.
Poster Competition - Act for the Climate was announced on September 7, with about 80 young people participating, who submitted more than 130 posters. The aim of the competition was to raise public awareness about climate change and to activate the public in the fight against climate change.
Participants created posters that showcase climate change processes, challenges, and possible solutions, as well as presents the negative effects of climate change and reflects our attitudes towards climate change.
The purpose of this event was to mark International Climate Action Day and to raise awareness in the community, especially among young people, about climate change and simple ways to mitigate its negative effects, daily actions that can help us reduce climate change.
The first part of the event was dedicated to greeting the invited guests and presenting the goals and activities of the project – Georgia Climate Action Program and Competition – Act4Climate, and the second part was to award the winners, exhibit posters and interview the authors of the posters.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of the EU Delegation to Georgia, the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia, Ilia State University, non-governmental organizations, and competition participants.
Up to 40 invited guests took part in the event and celebrated International Climate Change Action Day.
With the support of the EU, CENN launched the Georgia Climate Program (GEO-CAP) in 2021. The project supports Georgia to act on climate change by introducing climate friendly behavior and reinforcing cooperation and trust between state and non-state actors, strengthening regional CSOs via supporting the implementation of concrete initiatives together with local communities and empowering people to engage in advocacy that will result in collaborative climate actions in the target regions of the project.
CENN will implement the GEO-CAP program over the next 4 years together with partner organisations in 4 target regions (Guria, Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi, and Kakheti) with the Human Rights-Based Approach.
The European Union supported Georgia Climate Action Program (GEO-CAP) is implemented by CENN together with the Kakheti Regional Development Fund (KRDF), the Chiatura Union (ACU), the Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Agrotourism Development Association (RLS-ADA), and the Young Pedagogue’s Union (YPU). The target municipalities of the project are Gurjaani, Sagarejo, Akhmeta, Zestaponi, Tkibuli, Chiatura, Lanchkhuti, Ozurgeti, Oni, and Ambrolauri. The total budget of the project is 1 million euros.
