- Ecosystem Restoration: Restoration of soils, forests, freshwater systems, and coastal and marine ecosystems to improve resilience and biodiversity.
- Ecosystem-Based Mitigation (EbM): Approaches such as conservation agriculture, sustainable forestry, and marine conservation to mitigate climate impacts.
- Ecosystem-Based Adaptation (EbA): Adaptation strategies like agro-biodiversity conservation and water-sensitive forest management for climate resilience.
- Ecosystem-Based Disaster Risk Reduction (EDRR): Applications of NBS in reducing disaster risks from floods, droughts, earthquakes, and landslides.
- Financing NBS: Innovative mechanisms such as green bonds, blended finance, debt-for-nature swaps, and payments for ecosystem services.

- A proposed chapter title
- Names and affiliations of authors or co-authors
- Submission date (any time between now and mid-2026)
- Confirmation that the chapter will be 10,000 words in length
