For
too long, wild animals have been subjected to cruel,
inhumane treatment in traveling circuses, and Washington
state finally has the chance to end it. A Senate bill,
known as the Circus Bill, would ban the use of
elephants, nonhuman primates, big cats, and bears in
traveling circus acts across the state.
Sign this petition to urge
Governor Ferguson to stand on the right side of history
by signing SB 5065 into law!
Wild
animals endure pain and suffering even in the most
well-intentioned traveling shows. Most of their days are
spent confined in cramped, barren cages, unable to
express natural behaviors. But this bill offers hope.
Washington has an opportunity to say NO to these cruel
practices and embrace a more humane approach to
entertainment. Sign this petition and demand
an end to the cruel exploitation of wild animals in
circuses in
Washington!
