Subject: French & Italian petition go live. Getting ready for a tweetstorm!

 

Dear friends,

here's the latest from the campaign front:

- we're very worried about the negotiations right now. We've tried to explain to our readers why, in layman's terms, here . I'd be happy to know if you share our concerns. We think it's time to step up our efforts to stop the Council&lobbies' attempts to water down the regulation. Next week's trilogue could go very wrong.

 

- The good news is that our joint appeal is now live in French (English and German went out last week) and it will be live in Italian and Dutch very very soon. With English and German we got to 77k. Surely we'll do a lot better when all versions are live and NGOs start pushing.

- Another mailing should go out this weekend so hopefully we'll reach our first target at 100k signatures before next week's trilogue. T&E is also mailing its list this weekend, you can see our appeal here.

- Tuesday we are launching a tweetstorm. We'll target all national politicians mentioned in the letter + EU policymakers. You can see some of the tweets that the machine will fire here . There's 20 tweets in both English and French. I will share the tweetstorm's url on Monday so you can direct your supporters to it via emails/socials.

- New great creative assets: check out our micro-morphing videos here and attached. They're perfect clickbaits for generating leads on social. All creative assets are licensed and free for you to use. All in the usual folder here 

I know everyone's agenda is very busy, but next week is really important and we need to push our comms colleagues as much as possible to give us some 'real estate' on our media now.  Please keep us informed of your initiatives (mailings, FB ads, PRs etc.)
