This past Wednesday, on the eve of the Global Climate Action Summit, mayors, business leaders, changemakers and climate experts from around the world gathered at San Francisco City Hall to highlight the innovative ways cities are cleaning the air we breathe and building more resilient and equitable communities.

Co-hosted by C40 Cities, the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy and the City of San Francisco, Cities4Climate: The Future is Us set the tone for the days ahead, showing that the healthy and prosperous future we want is within reach— if we work together.

We heard from Former Vice President of the United States Al Gore, Founder and President of NextGen America Tom Steyer, CEO of Bloomberg Philanthropies Patti Harris, Former Administrator of the U.S. EPA Gina McCarthy, 15 mayors from around the world, and many other amazing speakers. Joining them on stage were moderators from the Rolling Stone, Guardian Cities, the Asahi Shimbun, San Francisco Chronicle and Autodesk. More than 100 journalists from media publications and outlets across the globe attended.

Thanks to everyone who helped to make this event a resounding success!
