Corporate lobbyists are pushing for a dangerous new law that will dismantle hard won EU protections for human rights and nature. If it passes, corporations will have a greenlight to pollute our rivers and air, destroy forests, and exploit workers -- all without consequences. The vote is in October. Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) can still stop this -- and if we mobilise enough public pressure from now until then, insiders say we can still tip the MEPs teetering on which way to vote in the direction we need. And we have a clever way to do it! With partners, we’re working on a tool that will make it easier and faster to identify the MEPs who are most moveable on an issue, and then call them directly. It’s a huge innovation in campaigning tech, and we’re excited to be at the forefront of it. But this kind of tech requires a lot of resources to get up and running smoothly in time.
