It’s a wrap on
our latest documentary, Burning
Injustice! This short film
captures the multigenerational effort to shutter
Covanta Stanislaus, a solid waste incinerator
that has been polluting the air of nearby
farm-working communities for decades.

Burning
Injustice
As we’ve been
saying for years, incineration is a
false solution to plastic that
pollutes the environment with toxins, and
endangers the health of communities that live
near a plant. We’re working to spread this
message far and wide, through grassroots
screenings and the environmental film festivals
circuit.
But it’s not
enough to just call out the bad – we have to
build the good, too. That’s why Burning
Injustice lifts up the inspiring
story of grassroots activists and community
members who are working towards a
cleaner, greener, zero waste
future.
