Empowering
Circular Solutions in Georgia: a B2B Networking
Event on Plastic Reduction Opportunities and the
Recycling Landscape has been organized by CENN
with the support of the USAID Economic Security
Program and the European Union. This event aimed
to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration
among stakeholders involved in the circular
economy sector with the help of interactive
sessions.
The
event hosted two thematic panel discussions, where
the representatives of the government, private,
and non-governmental sectors spoke about the
possibilities of solutions to the country’s
circular transition. The participants of the first
panel focused on the future policy of the country
in terms of integration with the European Union.
Opportunities for plastic packaging processing and
manufacturing were discussed as well. The second
panel discussion was devoted to the presentation
of private sector initiatives, where both HORECA
and other private sector representatives shared
success stories of plastic

ღონისძიება საქართველოში ცირკულარული გადაწყვეტების
გაძლიერების მიზნით, CENN-ის ორგანიზებით და
USAID-ის ეკონომიკური უსაფრთხოების პროგრამისა და
ევროკავშირის მხარდაჭერით გაიმართა. ღონისძიების
მთავარი მიზანი ინტერაქციული სესიების დახმარებით
ცირკულარული ეკონომიკის სექტორში ჩართულ
დაინტერესებულ მხარეებს შორის ცოდნის გაზიარებისა და
თანამშრომლობის ხელშეწყობა იყო.
ღონისძიებამ
ორ თემატურ პანელურ დისკუსიას უმასპინძლა, სადაც
როგორც მთავრობის, ისე კერძო და არასამთავრობო
სექტორის წარმომადგენლებმა ქვეყანაში ცირკულარული
ეკონომიკის კონკრეტული გადაწყვეტების
შესაძლებლობებზე ისაუბრეს. პირველი პანელური
დისკუსიის მონაწილეებმა ყურადღება ქვეყნის სამომავლო
პოლიტიკაზე გაამახვილეს ევროკავშირთან ინტეგრაციის
კუთხით. ასევე განხილული იქნა პლასტმასის შეფუთვების
გადამმუშავებელი და მწარმოებელი სექტორისთვის
არსებული შესაძლებლობები. მეორე პანელური დისკუსია
კერძო სექტორის ინიციატივების წარდგენას დაეთმო,
სადაც როგორც HORECA, ისე სხვა კერძო სექტორის
წარმომადგენლებმა პლასტმასის შემცირების წარმატებული
ისტორიები
