For Cláudia it was the raging wildfires that scorched the forests to nothing. 30 people were killed, trapped in their cars as they tried to outrun the flames. That's how critically important they are seeing it. Because climate change is a severe threat to our fundamental human rights -- and the crisis has never been more urgent. 2020 is now officially the joint-hottest year ever recorded: a year of runaway wildfires, surging floods, and glaciers vanishing before our eyes.
