Dear all!
We are excited to invite you, journalists, and communicators from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan (next year we will invite journalists from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan), to the Climate Journalism and Communication Training in Almaty! Join us on 12-14 September 2024, for the insightful event conducted in English.
During the training, we will dive deep into the climate issues of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, learn how to effectively cover these topics in media, master storytelling on climate change, and promote discussion on public platforms.
Plus, after the training, you can apply for funding for your idea.

Selection will be based on the quality of your idea and its storytelling potential.
Travel and accommodation expenses for participants outside Almaty will be covered.
This is the first event as part of new project “Communicating Climate in Central Asia” realized by n-ost and MediaNet International Centre for Journalism.
