Telavi Nursery Teachers were Given a Seminar on Sustainable Waste Management



On 9 November 2017, CENN Coordinator in Kakheti Region conducted a seminar
within WMTR II program for Telavi nursery teachers. The participants were
educated on the essence, methodology and importance of sustainable and
integrated waste management. They also learnt about the activities
implemented in Kakheti Region by CENN, WMTR II program in particular, such
as municipal waste management plans, clean-up of illegal dumpsites, etc.
Nursery teachers noted that receiving this kind of information was
critically important for them, so that they’d be able to pass it to
children – the future generation. The participants were granted certificated
in the end.



WMTR II program is implemented by CENN with the support of USAID.
