The COVID-19 pandemic is touching us all in ways we could hardly imagine. But for healthcare workers on the frontlines, it’s taken an unspeakable toll. Take David, a nurse in California, who is treating COVID-19 patients with rationed personal protective equipment — putting himself at risk to save others.
What would be helpful to him is
real leadership and action from our President to get vital medical supplies to
people like David now. But for weeks, Trump called this crisis the Democrats'
"new hoax" and downplayed the virus's threat while it spread. Now,
healthcare workers are suffering with shortages of protective equipment.
