Just two short years ago, the US was a global
leader in the fight against the climate crisis.
But now, with President Trump starting the process
of withdrawing the US from the Paris Agreement and
appointing a cabinet full of Big Polluters and
climate deniers, we’ve lost our seat at the
table. |
But there’s a silver lining. While our leaders
at the federal level have abandoned climate action
to curry favor with fossil fuel interests,
Americans know that our planet is in danger. In
fact, seven out of 10 Americans – in states across
the country and on both sides of the aisle –
believe that the climate crisis is a real and
present threat to our planet. |
We are the Climate Majority.
And if our elected officials won’t fight
for a better tomorrow, we will. We, the people,
must raise our voices together. |
