Got junk?  Bring it to campus tomorrow!

Let's work together to keep stuff out of landfills and help get it into the hands of people who need it.  Donate, swap, or dump it at SJSU's first swap and drop event.

The Center for Development of Recycling, the City of San José, and CommUniverCity are hosting a free and fun event where you can swap small appliances, clothing, and working electronics. Give stuff, get stuff at the swap tables!

Additionally, you can get rid of small broken electronics, batteries, printer ink, and light bulbs AND get a free lunch.

Bring something to swap and there's free gelato for you!

Date: Friday May 20, 2016 from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Location: Lot 8, 8th Street between San Salvador and Paseo de San Carlos (next to the SJSU Aquatic Center)

This event is open to all SJSU students and residents of the South University Neighborhood.Students who live just south of campus between 12th and 1st Street and San Salvador and Highway 280 can also take advantage of the free bulky item pickup service that will be offered by the City on May 21st and 28th. If you live in this boundary area, simply set out large items you don't want, such as mattresses and furniture, at the curbside after 5:00PM the night before. Like magic, your junk will be picked it up at no charge. Call the Center for Development of Recycling below for details.

So relieve finals stress by de-cluttering your apartments and dorm rooms and come celebrate the end of a great school year with us.

Please join us tomorrow!
