Caldwell Compliance in Pleasanton, CA is hiring an Entry-Level Regulatory Compliance Analyst to assist in the permitting of wireless tower modifications and new site builds. (Think environmental meets technology)
As a Regulatory Analyst you’ll gain expertise in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). No prior experience is necessary in wireless communications or in permitting but it is a plus if you have an Environmental or related sciences degree. Training is provided after hiring.
What does the company do?
Wireless carriers like AT&T and Verizon are constantly upgrading technologies (ex. 3G to 4G), and building new sites in order to keep up with demand for wireless communication. Caldwell Compliance reviews and tracks and develops permitting documentation for these modifications and new site builds.
What will you do?
For the first few weeks, you will learn about the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), and NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) regulations involved with wireless towers. You'll have plenty of supervision at the beginning, and once you learn, you'll have increasing autonomy in processing sites.
