Dear ENVS BA/BS and MS alums,
I write to personally invite you to the SJSU School of Planning, Policy, and Environmental Studies Spring Colloquium—an exciting day of knowledge-sharing, networking, and collaboration. The theme is Intersections: Building Sustainable and Equitable Futures Together.
This interactive event brings together faculty, students, and organizational partners as we explore innovative solutions in urban planning, environmental stewardship, housing, and climate resilience. With faculty presentations, lightning talks, a partner panel, and student posters, we’ll examine the intersection of research, practice, and community engagement to create interdisciplinary solutions to our most challenging social and environmental problems. Students in the current ENVS MS program will be featured, along with ENVS undergraduates. Additionally, staff and leadership from ENVS partner organizations, such as the City of San Jose, Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority, and Veggielution will participate. The event is a great opportunity to build your professional network. At 4:30 we will feature alumni updates, followed by Happy Hour.
