Subject: PhD and Postdoctoral positions in urban ecology and environmental psychology in Israel

The human and biodiversity research lab is seeking outstanding PhD and Post-doctoral students/researchers with a background in Psychology, Ecology or other relevant fields for cutting-edge interdisciplinary research. The study will use a gaze & eye tracking system to explore the contribution of urban biodiversity to people's well-being; in a second stage, this information will be used to explore how we should grow cities to enhance people’s well-being and mitigate ecological impacts.

This 4-year research project is funded by funded by the Israeli Science Foundation (ISF) and led by Dr. Assaf Shwartz an Ecologist at the Technion, Faculty of Architecture and Town Planing (for more details see the attached file). Ideal candidates that meet the criteria mentioned below are invited to apply by Tuesday the 20th of September:

- Highly motivated to conduct research in disciplines relevant to this project (ecology, environmental psychology and other relevant disciplines).

- Have a track record of academic achievement and want to gain interdisciplinary research skills in urban ecology.

- High quantitative, interpersonal and technological capabilities.

- Have strong written and spoken English.
