Dear colleague,
My name is Clelia Venturin, and I am the Marketing Officer at the Wildlife Forensic Academy (WFA). With this email, I would like to invite you and your colleagues to our online event for US universities, taking place on Tuesday 17th of March, from 17:00 to 18:30 SAST time. I have attached a poster with the key details of the event and the programme for your convenience.
About the Wildlife Forensic Academy:
WFA is the world's first training institution dedicated to wildlife forensics and conservation science, based in South Africa. We offer highly practical short courses and internships that equip students and professionals with hands-on skills in wildlife crime scene management, forensic investigation, veterinary forensics and conservation challenges. Because of the interdisciplinary aspect of wildlife crime, we welcome participants from different backgrounds, from forensic and conservation, to veterinary, law, business and biomedical students. Our courses combine classroom and field-based training at our forensic facility and game reserve. We offer different types of courses, including: Wildlife Forensic Courses (1–4 weeks), Veterinary Forensics (2 weeks), Wildlife & Wicked Problems Masterclass (2 weeks), and Conservation & Forensics Course (2 weeks). We also host internships of up to six months, ideal for students seeking in-depth, practical experience in wildlife forensics and conservation.

About the event:
During this session, we will:
The final part of the presentation will address any questions or concerns you may have. We will collect some questions in advance through the sign-up form and will also cover other common inquiries during an open discussion. Representatives from Clayton State University will join us for this session. They have worked with us closely, and their representatives will share their experiences working with the Academy, as well as insights on organising the practicalities in the US.
If you are unable to attend but are interested in collaborating with WFA, I would be happy to arrange an online introductory meeting to share more about our programs and discuss potential opportunities.
To register for the event, please complete this sign-up form. The link to join the online meeting will be shared closer to the event date only to those that have registered.
For any questions, feel free to reply to this email or contact me directly at cle...@wildlifeforensicacademy.com.
We look forward to connecting with you.
Best regards,
Clelia Venturin
