Dear ENVS community,

Our own Alex Hutchison warmly invites you to the keynote event of the TCK (Third Culture Kids) Symposium this spring.
On Feb 17th in Stamm at 3:40pm Nora Sherwood will give a keynote address on the theme of "Art and Experience."

Nora Sherwood is a TCK who grew up in Colombia, Finland, Sweden, Chile, and Spain. After getting a degree in Geography, she worked on ArcGIS in the 1990s, and then became a full time artist whose works mainly focus on nature (both flora and fauna).

A TCK is someone who grew up in a culture different from their parents' culture. The theme for this year is "Art and Experience" and will focus on how our speaker's unique identity as a TCK led to their work as an artist and how it influences their creative process.

The TCK community would love to share this inspirational speaker's message widely with LC students. Please share this announcement with your friends, housemates, and classmates!

Sincerely,
Jessica
