The China Oregon Forum on Climate Change & Sustainability will be held THIS Saturday (October 18, 2025) by ZOOM beginning at 5:30pm and ending at 8:00pm. Attached is an invitation to join us for this important event.

The Forum will hear a keynote speech by His Excellency Liu Zhenmin, Special Envoy for Climate Change Affairs for China. In addition to leaders from Oregon, Fujian Province and Tianjin City, the format this year will include two panel discussions on:

1. Clean Tech and Renewable Energy

2. Environmental Protection and Climate Smart Agriculture

This year members of the Oregon China Sister State Committee of the Oregon Legislature will attend the Forum in person in Tianjin, China. This delegation is already in China and is being led by Oregon’s Senate President Rob Wagner. The make up of the delegation is bipartisan.

Now is the time to reinforce solidarity and people-to-people relations between Oregon and China – and the U.S. and China. Join with us, Stand with us and Organize with us for normal relations with China.
