Hello!
The Yale School of the Environment will be hosting an Admissions Event for Inclusivity: Envisioning Space for Underrepresented Student Groups on Friday, November 12, 2021, from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM EST for prospective students to learn more about our graduate programs, the application process, and the student experience from underrepresented student groups at YSE.
The YSE community strives to recruit and maintain individuals with multi-faceted perspectives and experiences to aid in the cultivation of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community that is striving to create a sustainable future for all people and the planet.
We are committed to providing all students support during the admissions process, once you join our campus community, and beyond as alumni of YSE. The Office of Admissions will be joined by Dr. Narshimha Rao, Associate Professor Energy Systems, Dr. Gerald Torres, Professor of Environmental Justice, and Dr. Yuan Yao, Assistant Professor of Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Systems, as well as current students from underrepresented backgrounds as panelists to provide insight into becoming a valued member of our campus. Below we have provided our panelists for this event.
Please let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to connecting!
