Curious about what’s happening in the Arctic — and why people across the country are speaking out? Join Alaska Wilderness League and Love is King for a casual community gathering to learn about the fight to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

Hear directly from Gwich’in leaders, whose communities depend on the Refuge’s coastal plain — known as “The Sacred Place Where Life Begins.” You’ll learn what’s at stake with a proposed oil and gas lease sale and how people across the country are getting involved.

There will also be an optional opportunity to share a short public comment that will be shared with oil companies ahead of the lease sale — but listening and learning is just as welcome.

Free pizza provided. Friends welcome!
