COGS Student Research Grants

The Central Oregon Geoscience Society (COGS) offers research grants for undergraduate and graduate students. Grants are intended to support research in any field generally related to the geosciences, with a focus on research in Oregon.  Research projects in central Oregon may have preferential consideration, depending on the number of applications that are received.  Grant funds may be used to support analytical costs, travel costs, field expenses and other costs associated with research projects.

April 1, 2026
