Subject: Homecoming event - Albina Vision Trust +L&C
To:

Dear Campus Partners,

It was great to see so many of you over the last few days in both the Administrative Assembly and the Staff Council meetings. For those of you who do not know me, I am Amanda Valley, Associate Director of Alumni and Parent Engagement. We are currently getting geared up for Homecoming and Family Weekend (HCFW) and we want to be sure you know about all of our fun and exciting events!

The event that I am particularly excited about is the presentation Albina Vision Trust + Lewis & Clark = A Transformational Educational Partnership. with AVT Executive Director, Winta Yohannes, and our very own Professor of History, Reiko Hillyer! This presentation is free to attend and we would love to have students, faculty, and staff present, especially if folks were unable to join the Envisioning Event in May, 2025.

Please consider sharing the event with your students and attending this event! Having worked with the Student Alumni Association for three years, I know that when a department encourages students to attend events, they listen!  Students are able to RSVP using Handshake or they can register using the Homecoming and Family Weekend registration. RSVPs are not required for the Albina event, but there will be refreshments, and we want to be sure there is enough food for all!

We hope you will also consider attending this and other Homecoming events! There are lots of options including Symposium Spotlight, the Frank Manor House 100th Anniversary celebration with Professor Stephen Beckham, and, of course, Tailgate in the End Zone! Follow this link for registration and let us know you will be attending!

If you need more information from me, please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you for considering this request!

Yours,

Amanda
