Check out the Scientists in Parks (SIP) program for college students to work in paid internships in the National Parks over the summer. (below)
It looks like there are so many current openings. You can apply for up to 5 positions, and each position closes once they receive 60 applications, so apply early. 
Looks like many of the skills and concepts that you've been learning in your courses are in demand for these programs! Applications are currently open.
