Subject: Can You Help Spread the Word? Salmon Watch Volunteers Needed

Salmon Watch is an award-winning program that engages middle and high school students throughout the Pacific Northwest. Our mission is to deepen connection and understanding of native, wild fish, freshwater conservation, and environmental stewardship.

Each fall, during salmon spawning season, World Salmon Council trains Volunteer Educators to guide students in hands-on, outdoor learning experiences along rivers and streams and are actively seeking new volunteers to support these trips!

Our training events to onboard new volunteers are a little less than a month away and we are actively recruiting in order to support youth for upcoming fall events!

  • Share our event calendar and volunteer opportunities. Details about our training events and ways to RSVP for them can be found here on our volunteer platform POINT.
  • Include a blurb in your next eNewsletter, see our outreach language for text.
  • Please Share our  Facebook or Instagram post on your page and stories to increase awareness
Cheers,
Makayla
