The LC mainstage play is about two teenage climate activists! This is a neat dip into a cross-section of "Theater and ENVS." Come and support your friends in theater, and reflect on connections to ENVS 160. =) See below.

Subject: Rain and Zoe Save the World- Fall MainStage Performance opens at Fir Acres Theatre on Friday night!
Dear Colleagues,
Fir Acres Theatre’s Fall MainStage Production: Rain and Zoe Save the World by Crystal Skillman opens on Friday! The performance features original music composed by Bobby Cronin with comic book styled costumes and scenery on an unforgettable cross-country motorcycle ride.
The Playwright, Crystal Skillman, will give a talkback after the performance on November 1 and will also host a FREE “5-minute” playwriting workshop on November 1 from 2-4:30pm “Crystal’s Work is theatrical, fun, and full of heart. Many of her plays are known for a comic book style.” - American Theatre
RAIN AND ZOE SAVE THE WORLD is designed to simultaneously speak to older and younger generations of activists alike. The play captures both the idealism of youth and the burnout that befalls all activists with time, experience, and their constant pushing through obstacles. This play is a funny, sincere and profoundly moving adventure about the ethics of standing up for what you believe, whatever the cost.
Tickets are available online and in person at the Fir Acres Theatre box office one hour before the show.
We hope you will be able to attend and will encourage your students to attend!
