Building Envoy

Hello Experts,

 I am a newbie to envoy and I am trying to build the envoy on a CentOS7 platform, while doing the last step of envoy exe gen I faced an error as mentioned here https://github.com/lyft/envoy/issues/547.

any thoughts or help in this regard is much appreciated.

I also see that we need to use nghttp2 v1.20.0 https://github.com/nghttp2/nghttp2/releases/tag/v1.20.0, as the build failed with the similar scope issue with nghttp2 modules/variables.

Looks reasonable to me. If you feel like contributing, we have build scripts for Amazon Linux here:

https://github.com/lyft/envoy/tree/master/ci

We aren't keeping scripts like this up to date (which is bad), but someone might find the CentOS7 ones useful in the repo as a reference (though probably very similar to Amazon Linux).
