Removal of Date Header

Hi all,
We are a DSP in the Realtime-Bidding eco-system.
We recently deployed Cilium + envoy GW on our edge and it's working great!
We are working in a very high scale and upon an incoming request we are required to respond with a valid bid response or a 204 'No Bid'.
The communication doesn't require the Date header, yet it is enforced by the envoy.
This "feature" adds to DTO costs.
I did not see any way to remove the this header or bypass the behavior.
Is there a way? or can this be a valid feature request?

Yes, please file a feature request on GitHub. If you have a developer it will speed up the process.
