connection retry with TCP proxy

Hi All,

I am using a TCP proxy in Envoy for proxying POP3/IMAP to 5 backend servers. I was wandering - if max_connect_attempts is set to value > 1, does it mean that all connection attempts are directed to the same backend server or a new server is chosen for each connection attempt according to the LB policy?

Each new connection attempt will pick a new backend according to LB policy.
