Hello Envoy Gateway Community.
On behalf of the entire Envoy Gateway community, I am pleased to announce the release of Envoy Gateway v1.6.2.
This release includes a high severity security bug fix addressing arbitrary code execution through EnvoyExtensionPolicy Lua scripts (CVE-2026-22771). Users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to this version to mitigate the associated security risk.
