Microsoft is hiring Envoy engineers

We Serverless/PaaS org of Microsoft Azure has adopted Envoy over the past few years as the backbone for various of our cloud-native products and it works well. We are now expanding our investment with Envoy based high performance API gateway in our API platform and looking for engineers who have Envoy development experience to help us accelerate this new innovation.
We have tried the traditional means of job boards but it's not working very well. So, now we try to post this hiring information here. Below are the responsibilities and requirements. Note: this position is US only (Redmond preferred but open to US remote), all levels are welcome.
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficient with Envoy Proxy (including extending C++/WASM filters, controlling envoy via API, and monitoring)
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in C++ development for high performance gateway scenarios
- OR Golang development (including experience with HTTP Clients, GRPC, and profiling)
- Practical cloud native experience and Kubernetes CRD controller development
- Good understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
