Envoy 1.9.1 release

Hi,

The Envoy maintainers would like to announce the forthcoming release of Envoy 1.9.1.

This release will be made available on the 2nd of April 2019 at 10am PDT (5pm GMT). This release will fix 2 security defects. These security defects are considered as moderate severity.

No further details or patches will be made available in advance of the release.

Due to some delay in fix availability and feedback from vendors, we will be pushing back this release date to 5th of April 2019 at 10am PDT (5pm GMT).

The Envoy 1.10.0 release will follow shortly after 1.9.1, within days, and will also contain fixes to these defects.

After some discussion with Envoy distributors, the security team has raised the severity level for the defects that will be patched in 1.9.1 to high. This comes with the caveat that severity is dependent on Envoy configuration and deployment, many Envoy users will not be directly affected. We will include further information in the 1.9.1 release to assist in making this determination.
