Hello,

since using Windows 7 I have problems with EnvMan changing Systems
environment variables.

Changing such a variable results in an "Access Denied" error.

I expected the UAC to pop up, to let me accept this action.

Or ... starting EnvMan could cause the UAC to pop up to accept the
start of a program probably changing Windows settings.

Is there a chance to introduce this behavior?

Best regards,

Martin
P.S.: I use EnvMan 1.4RC1

Hi Martin,

You are right. At the moment EnvMan does not start UAC prompt
automatically, but there is a way to enable it.
Have a look at my blog post on How to run EnvMan on Vista.
to-use.html).
Same is applicable for Windows 7.

Let me know if you still having a problem or have some other
questions.

Best Regards,

Vlad
