Legitimacy!!

It appears that we have attracted our first spammer, confirming the
legitimacy of our Google Group. I have removed the post and banned
the spammer. Apologies for this.

We were aware of the possibility of spam once we opened the group.
Our decision was that we would make the group wide open so that we
could be an easy group to join. I do not feel that we need to change
this policy yet. However, there are other options that can help
prevent spam at the risk of making joining the group more difficult
for new members. If it becomes a problem, I will probably raise these
options again.
