Hi folks:

This below is from my friend Erin, the Cherokee Trail of Tears historian who I was telling you has done some work in this area and may be able to help us with some of the Cora Harris land issues. This is a separate issue - she is also involved in companion animal rescue. She and her husband have helped several animals lately, and Milo here is living with them while they look for a home for him. Do you know anyone who could give this fellow a good family? I can vouch for dogs of this general breed and type - I have two and they are wonderful companions, very calm and trainable, yet big enough to be good personal-protection dogs without being vicious. Milo sounds like a real sweetheart - I'd take him but our household dog capacity is about 200 lbs. and we're at full load. Please let either me or Erin know if you can help Milo.

ksanti,

Chris

Hello all,
A friend of mine is losing her home due to the economy and can't continue to take care of a dog she rescued and has been trying to place so he's staying with us for now.  But, he won't be able to stay here for more than a couple of months because soon it will be too hot in our garage and so he'd have to go to the pound where he would most likely be euthanized.

His name is Milo he 's about 4 years old and weighs around 60 lbs.  He is house trained and good with other dogs, cats, and kids.  He is also neutered and has had all his shots.  He is very loving and affectionate and would need to be mostly and indoor dog as he loves to be with people too much and gets lonely.

I have attached his picture to this email, please email me or call me at 678 787 3910 if you'd like to adopt him.

Erin
