******We need one print out of the following submitted and signed by
the President, Treasurer, and Faculty Advisor of PEAK by this
Wednesday February 24, at 12:00pm to Brenda Arthur located on the
fourth floor of Kennesaw Hall.

DESCRIBE PROPOSED ACTIVITY
Include biography of speaker, reason for ceremony, etc.

Include a detailed budget of funding requested from SABAC as well as
from sources other than SABAC. (dues, fundraising, etc.)

This year is the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. PEAK is hosting Earth
Day 2010 on the Campus Green from 11:00am – 3:00pm on April 22, 2010.
Earth Day is a celebration to unite all bodies in our home and PEAK
sees Earth Day 2010 as an opportunity to attract and educate students,
faculty, staff, administration, and the larger community about issues
surrounding the planet. PEAK will use this event as a way to bind
understanding about the importance of our environment through the use
of positive practice guides, knowledgeable speakers, ECO-commitments,
and sustainable foods.

We are requesting the following budget outline for Earth Day 2010 to
be successful:

Sustainable T-Shirts (tsdesigns.com) -- $2,200
Crafts -- $1,000
Food -- $5,000
Solar Panel Kit -- $1,000
