EPA is seeking someone who is results-driven with incredible leadership capabilities to take on the role of Senior Advisor for Environmental Justice in the Office of Land and Emergency Management.

Examples of duties include:

Pursues a comprehensive approach to advancing environmental justice across OLEM programs, including Superfund, Brownfields, emergency response, federal facilities, solid and hazardous waste management, and underground storage tanks to resolve complex national problems in environmental justice, including health and environmental impacts.
Directs and responds quickly and accurately to short deadlines from both internal and external EPA customers to address and support the resolution of high level and high impact policy and program issues.
Clarifies and aligns environmental justice and equity communications across OLEM and provide technical advice/recommendations to the assistant administrator, deputy assistant administrators, office directors, and agency staff regarding environmental justice, civil rights, inclusion, and equity solutions.
Develop, correlates, and executes resource management, technical support, and administrative management programs within OLEM with the parameters of broad national policies and delegations of authority from the assistant administrator.
