Dear Colleagues
Sustainability’ is a buzz word which has spawned industry-wide interest and led to the emergence of several corporate sustainability initiatives in recent times. However, many enterprises struggle to achieve significant tangible outcomes from these initiatives. This occurs due to the lack of an embedded sustainability mindset, which is required to drive a dedicated effort based on an overarching sustainability vision and strategy.
While some say that sustainability pays, it is hard to find clear evidence that reports material or economic gains or advantages. Consequently, sustainability is perceived to be more of a branding strategy and many skeptics look at sustainability as just a green wash.
There are, however, in our midst Corporate Sustainability leaders who have not only demonstrated a clarity of vision and commitment to purpose, but have also been able to achieve impressive sustainability-driven outcomes. Do their achievements provide sufficient evidence to make a convincing business case for Sustainability? How can enterprises get more business value from their Sustainability initiatives?
Infosys and Environmental Management Centre (EMC) have conceived a half day workshop on Business & Sustainability in this perspective. This workshop is designed exclusively for business leaders to come together and discuss sustainability in a strategic context, building on realities of implementation and sharing practical experiences. Participation is by invitation only. Attached is the flyer
