World Environment Day

Dear all,
The E,C&R Group members would like to celebrate the World Environment Day 2016 on this coming June 7, 2016 (Tuesday) in the morning at a primary school near ADWLE’s Legal Aid Clinic in Ban Nong-song-hong, Xaythany District, Vientiane Capital. We would like to invite all of our colleagues at HELVETAS to join us. The activities are as following:
· Plant trees around the primary school yard
· Play games, question and answer on environmental issue with primary school students and give small awards.
· Discuss with teachers at the school for future activities.
Please confirm to Khamla Inmueangxay by the noon of June 6, 2016 (Monday) so we can do a well preparation.

Dear EC& R group members and all,
Just to let you know that the Environmental Campaign was done today with a good collaboration from different organization in the Nonghet Town and including the support from our Group EC&R, specially Bong, Khamla and Danang and as well as Elizabeth, who took initiative to deal with this issue for the past years since UDIN project was started in Nonghet in 2010. Thanks for all of your supports, this is the event that more than 410 people join in a open space AND off course, I could said that we should continue to support such kind of event like this with our partners and communities where we work with. I also felt that I cannot find the concrete action plans today from the district line agencies BUT, at least all things went smoothly and well done.
