I did not see a wishlist so I will add here as a recommendation.

E164.arpa is a great start but most of the telecom and mobile industry have
not adoptet listings there as it facilitates internet calling as opposed to
their expensive networks. They have no incentive to do so soon either.
E164.org however allows public listings.

So the suggestion is such. Rather than using an alternative lookup server
allow additional servers for lookup. If it not on arpa it can also lookup
public regitered listings. This is the only place where you will find
listings for several countries at this time.
