Two more meetings announced to plan for the Library. At least these are available for people to attend who go to school or work. however, we just found out about them today so the notice is still far too short. But, if you can go, please go share your thoughts.
Part of the LS&S contract requires development of a 'new' strategic plan.
Meetings will be held at the East Valley Community Center, 2245 E. Valley Parkway.

We encourage anyone who can attend to please do so.
Please:
a. Ask them to develop a strategic plan to re-open the East Valley Branch library before the end of 2018.
b. Ask them for a robust level of programming for Spanish-speaking residents, kids, and families.
c. Ask for programs and resources to help people find jobs and to prepare for them.
d. Ask for a plan to create an independent library district to ensure the library is controlled by the public, for the public.
e. Ask them for a robust level of programming for teens and young people
f. Other programs you wish to see added or protected.
