touch OSC android

Im looking for a way to have an android tablet call up programs for a person that has ni idea how to use the system.

looking at touchosc but no idea how to implement this from documentation. dont really want to spend on software that does not do what i want.

it looks like http commands can work. is there a known android ap that i can plug into the api and setup some simple program buttons.

I am really trying to avoid any apple solution.

TouchOSC works well with ELM. You can configure the buttons to send the proper OSC messages. You can see all messages that ELM accept in the user manual.

For example, to set the media 2 on the stage "stage01", the osc address is:

/elm/stages/stage01/live/media

and you send the value 2
