ELM not talking to Pixlite 16

Anyone here run a pixlite from ELM, Computer is communicating, everything looks right. I have no problem running strips through pixelator.

Yes, it should work. Run the advatek assistant and make sure the configuration is ok (ip, art-net/sAcn, universes, etc.)

It works fine with advatek assistant, no problems there, so I know the unit works...

Use the assistant app to change the configuration:
- the ip address needs to be on the same network as the computer (same subnet mask)
- check whether art-net or sAcn is used
- check the universes configured

Not sure why the units are not talking, maybe the universe setting?, Advatek assistant says it starts at universe one, where ELM shows only universe 0.

Try switching from Art-net to sAcn. The network configuration is easier. Change it in ELM and the Pixlite.

And make sure to play a media in the live view. Otherwise the stage is deactivated and no dmx is sent.

And restart the Advatek assistant multiple times when changing its configuration. It has some bugs in this area...

No luck, changed to sACN, universe 1, advatek works fine when tested with assistant, ELM set to sACN, can see it sending to universe 1, but no lights
Yes in live view
yes reset controller many times...

Interesting problem. You can try turning off your firewall.

Good. The firewall has a per-application configuration so it was blocking ELM but not Advatek assistant. It's something to be aware of and it's easy to deny network access to ELM the first time it runs without noticing it.
If you want to re-activate your firewall, you can go in the firewall settings and add a rule to allow ELM to use the network.

Awesome to know,
here is a hopefully simple question,
I have a 32 RBG pixel strip, when I add a strip to Elm, I have to make it 62, to light the full strip, it does not light any of the strip until I make the strip 33, then it only lights the first one,

It looks like the first 32 leds do nothing. Check again the Advatek configuration and the start address of each port. Maybe you've mixed the ports.
Otherwise, patch your leds in ELM starting at address 96 (32x3).

Ok, that works, setting address, but had to go to 97, which is 33 blocks of 3, I would have thought 94 would have worked...
but all is good, not sure why is doesn't light at start address 1, but Ill keep poking till I find out and will post when and if I do figure it out
