Hello,

Im trying to create a setup where I have 8 different "modes" which change throughout the day using the scheduler are then switched persistently from 8 osc messages (sent from a controller box) so that the user can have one mode for a few days, and then another mode for a few days etc etc

I.e

the first mode cycles through red colours from 9am til 9pm and is off from 9pm to 9am

the first mode cycles through blue colours from 9am til 9pm and is off from 9pm to 9am

the third mode is red in the morning and blue in the afternoon, also from 9am til 9pm

the fourth mode is a brighter "party" mode and has different set of colours and is now on from 9am til 11pm

etc etc

I cant seem to find the correct way to do this, ive tried making 8 stages and setting each ones intensity based on which mode is selected, but when the schedulers from the other modes kick in it brings the intensity back.

Ive tried having 8 groups and using the "/elm/groups/{group name}/performer/active/" to deactivate everythign except for the required mode, but that doesnt seem to disable the scheduler.

Does anyone have any advice on the proper way to do what im looking for?

Regards

George

Hi,

There's a new beta version to enable/disable the schedules of the sequences via OSC. Contact me at in...@lightjams.com if you want to test it.

Hi Mathieu,

Thanks for that, the method I settled on was by making 8 stages and 8 sequences, I then activated all of the ones I didn't want to show to be under remote control as opposed to scheduler control and then set the intensity of the unwanted stages to zero.

This works in theory on the monitor but I haven't had a chance to try it IRL yet, can you foresee any problems with this approach?

Regards

George
