I have a 3 screen setup in the final stages of testing and we're using the trial version of ELM

setup as follows:
Screens 1 & 3

20*48 pixels controlled by 2 Arduino (Universes 0-5, 14-19)
each is split at row 10

screen 2
32x32 pixels controlled by 2 Arduino (Universes 6-13)
split at row 16

everything works well up until screen 3 section 2. that section has a decreased brightness, and even with the test video is choppy, missing pixels, and unresponsive. I've checked all connections, cables, etc. if I plug that section into a controller assigned to any other set of universes the problem disappears.

I thought I may be overloading my system so, I created a new project with just the screen I'm having issues with. the left section is U14-16 the right section U17-19. Still, I'm having the same issue. the test function sort of works, red, and yellow, and white work. Blue and green do not work. this all stops when the section is plugged into a screen with a different Universe.

The network is hardwired and all connected to a Dell power connect 2224 unmanaged switch, ArtSync didn't seem to affect it either way.

Hi Nathan,

This is an interesting problem! I've opened the project here, and the output looks ok in the monitor and in the Artnetominator (http://www.lightjams.com/artnetominator/).

My first guess would be to check the Arduino code and look whether there's some bug when handling universe 16 and over. This is a special universe, as it's the first universe of the 2nd subnet.

Keep us posted.

If the problem is in the Arduino, then this may not change anything. What is the config of the Arduino (including the art-net library)?

You can also try another software to see if the result is the same. Lightjams also has a free trial: http://www.lightjams.com/

Thanks!! Should I be addressing it as subnet 2 universe 0-3?
