Job Title: Oracle Financial Technical Consultant (AME / APEX / Workflow)
Location: Houston, TX – 5 days onsite

Duration: 24 months contract

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Financial Technical Consultant with strong expertise in AME (Approval Management Engine), Oracle APEX, and Oracle Workflow within an Oracle E-Business Suite Financials environment. The consultant will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting approval workflows, custom applications, and financial system integrations.

The ideal candidate should have deep technical expertise in Oracle EBS architecture and be able to work closely with functional teams to design scalable solutions supporting financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications supporting Oracle Financial processes.
Configure and enhance Oracle AME (Approval Management Engine) rules and approval hierarchies.
Develop and maintain Oracle Workflow processes and custom workflow extensions.
Support and enhance Oracle Financials modules, including AP, AR, GL, and PO.
Design and develop custom PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and APIs.
Troubleshoot workflow issues, approval routing errors, and system integration challenges.
Develop and support interfaces, conversions, and reports related to financial processes.
Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
Perform system testing, performance tuning, and code optimization.
Maintain technical documentation, workflow diagrams, and development standards.
Support production issues, enhancements, and system improvements.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Financials.
Hands-on experience with:
Oracle AME (Approval Management Engine)
Oracle Workflow
Oracle APEX development
Strong expertise in PL/SQL development.
Experience working with Oracle Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, Procurement).
Experience developing custom workflows, approval rules, and routing logic.
Experience in Oracle APIs, interfaces, and data integration.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Experience supporting production environments and enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Oracle EBS R12 / R12.2 environments.
Experience with BI Publisher / Oracle Reports / Forms personalisation.
Exposure to Oracle Integration technologies.
Experience supporting financial approval workflows and compliance processes.
Oracle technical certifications (nice to have).
